For eight decades, His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej was Thailand’s guiding light. The monarch, regarded far and wide as Father to the nation, took the country out of several deadly turns with his wise counsel. His fortitude and devotion to human development were an inspiration to all.
Regardless of the differences and disparities across Thai society, His Majesty was a solitary constant, a beacon of hope for Thais rich and poor, young and old, rural farmers and urban residents alike.
His Majesty King Bhumibol’s selflessness, generosity and compassion will always be remembered. To honour the monarch, Thais must learn to follow in his footsteps and carry on his royal legacies.
3.The Beloved King
We love our King because he dedicated his life to his people. His Majesty initiated thousands of development projects that were aimed at improving the living conditions of his people. These Royal Developments Projects targeted different sectors of the economy including agriculture, the environment, public health, occupational promotion, water resources, communications, public welfare, and more. King Bhumibol traveled around Thailand in order to meet his people and implement these projects for the betterment of the country. This is why Thais love their King so much and view him as a father figure or as the "Father of the Country."
2.I will forever be your humble servant.
Thailand is going through a tough period right now as King Bhumibol Adulyadej has passed away after 70 great years on the throne. I'm proud to live in the Kingdom of Thailand and to have been here during King Bhumibol's reign. His Majesty was a wonderful example to me and the Thai people. His Majesty will live in our hearts forever.
